Final Blog Assignment.- Gr. 7

This grade 7 year was really interesting. It was interesting because.. we had a awesome, funny teacher and then we have some teachers who won't stop telling story's and then there are teachers who kick, and yell and scream. It really sucked was because I was with the best grade 7 teacher anyone could ever have then ALL my friends were in that teachers class who likes to kick, and yell. I have done lots of exciting friends with my friends though. I got to do lots of sports, like track and field, volleyball, b-ball, badminton. I did the red deer festival. Where I got to play my Alto Saxophone... and guess what.. we got 1st place.  I do struggle with Social and Science. I got to do devotions a couple times for the class. I think with the help of my friends, teacher, pastors, family, etc. I could have a healthier Christian lifestyle while I grow up. I really don't know what to say but.. its just been an exciting year but sad at the same time. Oh and if you are a child under the age of 16... so to gateway! It will change your life upside down. Everybody is nice here and it will help you follow God. I love writing but, for some weird reason. I just can't seem to think of what to write about this year. In grade 9, you can choose to do full time Thurber or when you hit gr. 10 you can do Gerber. Gerber is when you do your main core subjects at gateway and all your options at Thurber. I want to do Thurber because, there is one option I am dying to do but I need to be in gr. 9 to start. My parents say that it will break my Christian faith and I will loose it. I have told my mom a billion times that I will always follow God. I have my friends to help me and you guys to support me. I have been a christian since I was 2 and you just can't seem to trust me. I know not to drink, steal, smoke... I know the right and wrong boundaries. If  I do go to a party and there are drunk people and smoking.... I will call my parents. I don't care if I have to stop being friends.. God and family will always go first, then friends. Ok, well I think I said everything I need to say..

HELP!!! HELP!!! I am running out of ideas. I need ideas of what to write about. Comment what I should write. HELP!!! HELP ME PLEASE!

This is all I am asking!

My practice from football.

I got there, I was reading to get warmed up and play. There was only one problem,  I forgot my mouth guard. So, lets just say I got tackled and I head my head and bit me cheek. When I got home, my head ended up bleeding. I am having major headaches and I cant seem to relax unless I am having a soothing hot bath with a hot tea, a book and a trail mix. I did have a bath last night just not with all the goodies, but I did have salt to really relax my muscles. Anyway, I decided that football is not for me, but I tried and I have challenged myself. My parents are so proud of me for trying for something so aggressive. I am doing other sports that I love like:

• Soccer
• B-ball
• V-ball
• Badminton
• Track and Field
• Hip Hop (dancing)
• Sports for PE. (school)

See I have other things I love and nothing can change that I am a geek and nerd who loves playing sports.

RANT POEM

Pushing, Shoving, threatening

Swearing and using God's name in vain

Spreading gossip and rumors 

Calling people names

They can be cool, they can be jerks.

They can be funny, they can be snobs

They can be kind, they can be a inconsequential people.

They don't think that there are parents to help us.

Even if it happens on a bus.

In the hallway, in the classroom. 

Outside and inside of school grounds.

They will get a detention because they deserve it

Be a role model today and not start a war any day.

We are little hedgehogs, waiting for the enemy to go away.

You will pay, someday.

You don't even know what can happen in the future. 

We can be somewhat as smart as a computer.

You are like the darkness in peoples life's.

You are like the pain that's in their soul

Don't ruin their day.

Don't do bad.

Do good.

Even if you are right, we can be wrong.

Top Ten  most Anticipated Video Games! In the Year 2012!

 10)10. Hitman Absolution - If you've seen any of the media covering the latest Hitman title, then you too should be giddy with anticipation. And judging by the handful of breathtaking trailers and a lengthy gameplay demonstration, this game has "must buy" written all over it. Building upon the mechanics and cinematic techniques seen in other modern day action games, Absolution is sure to make its mark in the genre. Blending stealth and action is no easy task, but it looks like the guys at IO Interactive have a pretty solid handle on how to marry the two seamlessly. In a genre dominated by Naughty Dog's Uncharted series, Hitman will undoubtedly mix things up a bit, with a much more refined stealth system than the competition.


9)9. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Both Kojima Productions and Platinum Games are notorious for creating some wacky third person action experiences. Konami's Metal Gear franchise has always been marked by over-the-top plots and insane action, which is why it will be really interesting to see what Platinum Games does with the franchise's polarizing character Raiden. This is certainly not your typical Metal Gear title and is an undoubted risk for both studios. The fact that the project was actually canned a little while back doesn't bode all that well for the game, though if any developer could give an action-heavy experience like Rising the legs it needs to be successful, it's Platinum Games.
8)8. Max Payne 3 - Rockstar is hands-down one of the best developers in the gaming industry today. As such, we can't wait to see what they do with the Max Payne franchise this March when they release the third installment in the popular franchise. We've seen them breathe new life into the Red Dead series, so we're confident that they'll be able to do the same with Max Payne. If you've seen any footage of the game, or at least checked out our screenshot gallery, you'll instantly notice how gorgeous this game looks, as well as how different the protagonist appears. Max looks much rougher around the edges this time, which leads us to believe that Max Payne 3 is going to have one heck of a dark, emotional experience.


7)7. Tomb Raider - Lara Croft is back and looking better than ever in the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot. The gameplay demonstration at E3 blew just about everyone away, proving that the franchise is in very capable hands. The incredibly moody and serious tone they injected into the experience is a welcomed change, and will do a lot to enhance the overall experience. This game covers the origin story of Lara, and a rough one at that. Becoming the famed explorer that she is didn't happen over night. In addition, it looks like the gameplay has changed quite a bit. No more awkward platforming or annoying shooting; this time gamers will get a really immersive control experience that borrows heavily from a plethora of games including Heavy Rain. We can't wait to join Lara on her painful quest for greatness when the game launches next year.


6)6. The Last Guardian (release up in the air, possibly cancelled) - Sony's Japan Studio has been having a bit of trouble over the past month or so. With several members of Team ICO leaving Sony, many gamers are growing more and more worried about the future of The Last Guardian. The project lead has assured the public that he will continue to work on the game and see it through to completion, but it's hard not to still worry about the future of a game series that is so heavily rooted in artistic passion. Both ICO and Shadow of the Colossus are amazing experiences that were birthed out of creative genius, which is something incredibly rare in the entertainment industry. We are all rooting for the game, hoping that it does in fact get finished and provide another amazing experience like the titles that came before. The Last Guardian has the potential to be one of the great gems of this generation, so we're praying it finds success like you wouldn't believe.


5)5. Grand Theft Auto V - While we still know relatively little about GTAV aside from the setting, there's still a lot to be excited about. First off, we know that the game will be amazing… that's a given; and the return to Rockstar's fictional recreation to L.A. is just icing on the cake. The last time we visited the world of San Andreas was back on the PS2, so it will be exciting to see how they've evolved the setting we grew to love so many years ago. As is true with all Rockstar Games, a solid cast of believable characters is expected, and while we still don't' know who the main protagonist is, the narration we heard during the game's debut trailer was enough to have us on the edge of our seats in anticipation.

4. Mass Effect 3 - The epic conclusion to the Mass Effect trilogy is only a few months away. Isn't that hard to believe? The jump from the original Mass Effect to Mass Effect 2 was monumental, and we know that some major changes are in store for the third one, so it's fair to say that our hopes are pretty high. BioWare has a lot to live up to, and a lot to deliver on if they hope to satisfy eager fans of the franchise. The fact that everyone's Mass Effect experience is entirely unique speaks volumes to the creativity of the development team over at BioWare. Let's just hope that they are as talented at tying together all the loose ends as they are at creating them. We haven't even hit 2012 yet and gamers are already hailing this as the best RPG of next year. That should say something.

3)3. BioShock Infinite - Irrational Games is comprised of a talented bunch that don't settle for anything less than astounding. Everything they create is incredibly unique and fresh, and that is why we can't wait for BioShock Infinite. Where do you take a game franchise that was originally set under the sea? Oh, I don't know… the sky? And why don't we add rails by which people can travel across this world in the sky? And why don't we add elements of political unrest that will serve as the foundation for the game's plot? Oh, and don't even get me started on the complex relationship between the game's protagonist Booker, Elizabeth and a giant flying creature known as Songbird. It goes without saying that this game just bleeds creativity and innovation. Back when I first played the original BioShock I couldn't imagine how Irrational would be able to top the experience. But after seeing Infinite with my own eyes, I'm sold.

2)2. Halo 4 - Have you missed Spartan 117? Well don't worry, because he'll be back and ready for action late next year as 343 Industries kicks off a brand new trilogy for the Halo franchise. It's been a while since we've got to play as the super-powered Spartan soldier, so I'm sure games are dying to get back in on the action. While Bungie may have moved on to greener pastures, 343 has proven that they are a capable studio completely committed to Halo. Having a fresh take on the franchise will be great for the series, as the new team strives to expand upon the Halo lore in ways we've never seen before. Halo 4 is a game designed for fans by fans, and we'd have it no other way.

1) 1. The Last of Us - A bad Dog has proven that they are masters of the PS3 hardware with their jaw-dropping franchise Uncharted. That is why their next major game, The Last of Us, has taken the number one spot on our list. There still isn't a whole lot of information to go by, but if you've seen the trailer that debuted at the VGAs, then you'll understand why we can't wait for this game. The footage, running entirely on a PlayStation 3, showed a middle-aged man and teenage girl fend off a group of humans infected by some sort of unknown fungus. The condition causes the infected person's head to swell as they become completely taken over by the parasite. Naturally this has brought about the end of the world in many respects, as nature begins to overwhelm civilization. While the premise is all-too reminiscent of a zombie film, Naughty Dog has proven that they can take popular concepts and provide their own compelling twist that makes it unique.

My Best Friend!

Today is the day were it is my Best Friends birthday! I want to get it something nice. I don't know what though. I just found out the day of its birthday was today. I never knew when we have been best friends for about 3 years now. Since 4th grade, and I cant believe I never knew when its b-day was. I have asked it before, it just never knew when its b-day was. I have never seen what the real Best Friend it is. I want some privacy with it, well his friends find out and ask what did we do. I just want to know a little more about it so I can learn more about it. It was fine in grade 4 just now we have both changed and everything I say or do, it tells his friends. I think we should go our own way. We have never talked like we used too. It seems to have its own friends. I just feel invisible. OH! The reason why I ma not say him or her is because I don't want to give names out.

My spring break

My spring break was the worst. I rather be stuck in math class all day. ( I love math but hate teacher)  I only got 3 chocolate eggs as my sister got a whole basket with a cabinet full. I had to give some to my cousin. I was even aloud to to sit in the service I had to help with the little kids. I rather sit in my bedroom and do nothing if I was aloud.  Everything was the worst thing. I had 1 sleepover but she wanted to play school the whole time. I ha another sleepover before that sleepover and it was the best just she thinks that id dint believe her so now she is mad at me because of that. I am happy i am back in school now I can finally do something I like, besides math. And the teacher. I rather sit down all day in my room, with a glass of water and piece of bread. Even when I had the worst spring break and my best friend said that if anything is wrong I can talk to him  but he says he doesn't want me to call him anymore.  I have realized that we have gone our own ways and its time for him to move on. But he has been my best friend since 4th grade. 3 years!!!!!!   Well this has been excited at least I got to write down my anger on here.

Today, is when I have and really sore finger and my friends from Edmonton comes down from Edmonton, my mom works all day and my grandma from St. Alberta comes down too. I so tiered. I was up till 12:30 last night. woke-up at around quarter to ten because of my sister and I have done nothing but clean. I can even sit down for 10 minutes. That why I am doing this really quickly. Tomorrow my sister is getting baptised and I feel bad because my grandma didn't get to see me. I just want to sleep for another hour or so. I really don't feel well. What am I supposed to do. Another day of worst. Not because of anybody. Well kind of, I was planning to have a sleepover or go hang out but no I cant but the one who is getting baptised can. I hate being the oldest. I have homework and like its the end of the world and I can even hang out with any of my friends. All I really want to do is just move out because. My sister is aloud to snuggle with my dad but I can't because my room wasn't clean or i am to heavy has someone 50 more pounds  then me can snuggle. I feel like I cant do anything. This weekend is probably the worst of all time.

Today, I woke up and I have a cold. I could breathe except for my mouth. My nose is stuffed and I can't even drink anything. I tried drinking a juice box but I chocked and I didn't breathe properly. My stomach started to burn. I felt like throwing up. I had to go to school though.  What was I supposed to do? I would call my grandma but I know that she is getting older. (65) She always likes to watch TV or movies. Eat popcorn and drink pop. I think at recess or when its 9:38 I will call her.  I know I didn't take my vitamins except for two but I chocked on the juice. My legs, neck and my arms and wrist are just so sore. On Sunday I had B-ball and on Monday I had swimming and yesterday I had badminton. I really hope I don't have anything today after school. Except for my mom is going to be talking to my homeroom teacher. I just fell like a blah, lazy, pale and tiered teenager who wants to just sleep or relax. I know I am not sick but I do have a really nasty cold. I don't know what I should do?  I think I will be calling my grandma.

“Chicken toes” conjures up a bucketful of imagery

Do chickens point at the person who is painting their toenails?
Do they press the gas and stop pedal in the vehicles?
Does the toe jam get stuck after playing a sport and fails?

Do the girls brag about their toe rings?
Do they wear glossed shoes at a dance?
Do they rub their own toes? Do they use cream?

Do they leave their shoes inside so the house can get a air freshener?
Do they cut their toenails in a peanut butter jar?
Do they wear high heels just so they can be taller?

Just because there is no chicken toes
but chicken fingers.
There is still life so,
you will never know what will come your way.

What I think about poetry!?

I think poetry is a way to express yourself by writing, just like art and music and singing. This is my favorite thing about L.A, writing and poetry. So I love poetry.  I love poetry because you can express yourself and its like a word problem. They all have a meaning. My great uncle was a famous poet at the time. My great, great, great, great grandfather wrote books and L.A textbook. The Social, L.A is my family's way of showing who they really are. My dad's side is the Science, Math, PE part of it. For me, I am in the center. I love school just in general. My favorite is my Great uncle poem. It is all about chicken finger and if they are actual chicken finger. Also you never know where those fingers have been. That poem was the most extraordinary, not un unusual poem out of all the poems I have read.

My trip to CLR

I got there and for once I finally got to meet people my own age. :) When I got there.. around 11:00 pm. I got my bed ready and got my Pj's on because as soon as my bed was made my cabin group came in. We stayed in the chapel for the time or most of the time. This is probably best time ever. No spiders, no bugs I was toasty and warm and it was the best time anyone could ever have. It was a space theme so I grabbed tin foil and covered my hair with it and we made a skit. I was the Vapor Vindow Vipers. I had to clean windows. This was the best skit in a long time. I came home and I just ate candy like it was the end of the world. This was the best time ever.

Winter Camp INtroduction

Today @ 10:00 I am going CLR (camp little red) and I have been there for 2 years of summer nad the first year of winter.  YAH!!!!!!!!!  So this my introduction to it. So when I get back. I am blogging like this is a kids story book. LOL

One BIg lesson I have learned.

What can you think you will need to become a real 30 year old man. Think of 4 things, now what if the first thing? What is it that makes you stay on track? Is it God, is it family, is it health and it friends and happiess? If you dont keep God on you frist thing on your top four things. Then you wont have a good relationship with anyone. He wont have a good relationship with anyone. If you are a women or a female and there is a very cute guy, like he is just HOT HOT!!! But he never goes to church, never reads the bible.  What will you do? If you are a man or a male and there is a very sexy, sexy women like HOT HOT!! But she never reads the bible or never goes to church. What are you going to do?

Dogs!

I know I am weird talking about dogs! I was just board so I am just going to talk about dogs. Well there are different types of dogs, all different sizes and colors. Well, I love dogs! I might have 3 fish, 2 bearded dragons, 1 tortoise and hermit crab. I own a 2 fish and 1 bearded dragon. I am not a big fan of pets, but I really want a dog. I dog is not my favorite animal, my favorite animal is a monkey. Our rule in our house is that is my sister, my mom and I all keep our clean for 1 whole year and my dad is the judge. Its so stupid. My record is 7 months. Then Christmas came around the corner with all my cousins and aunts and uncles and grandpa and grandmas. Well that is me talking about dogs. Today! Today! Today is were my sister's ankle is sore and my well, my othere sister. The one who as the attidude and never likes to listen to her own sister. That is very sad. I will be baby-sitting from the time we all step into the door until my dad steps into the door. He said he won\t be home until 8:00, 8:30. Today I have made my sisters a deal. If they do there chores and homework completed by 6:00 (it was 4:00 that time) then we can watch some TV (drake and josh), have grilled cheese sandwiches and later on around like 7:00 have some popcorn. I know I am supposed to be baby-sitting right now and not on the computer blogging but I am done everything. I hope my sisters don't make my day worse. From the time I got pushed and hit my head as all my pimples on my forehead are bleading to the time where I got hit my a locker door. To the time where I have to carry my Alto Saxaphone and my packback full of 5 textbooks, 2 binders, my art sketch book and my music folder.  Man it feels like I had a big work-out. Another thing that as happened to me was that my Best Friend having a crush on this girl. All he talks about is her and he never answers his cell because he to busy reading textbook or playing a game on the computer. Some times all he says is what's up after our 4 years of friendship. That or the other line is busy because he been talking to her for 3 hours straight. He is like my only friend and he never says hi to me today at all. I tryed talking to him but all of his friends just interupt and he desn't want us to talk in private because he doesn't want to lie to his friends say that he like this other girl but he likes me. OK! First of all Ewww! Second, We are best friends, nothin more. Third, If I  did like him I would say I was jelous from the very start. I has no friends since I first came to the school and now it like grade 2 all over again. I do go and see and counciler but I only see her like one a month. What I am I going to do with my grade 7, teenager, life?

Weirdest Day of School Ever!

OK! Today we had the weirdest day of school ever! There is a male teacher and and female teacher. All the girls in both classes went into the female teacher and all the guys in the the male teacher. I have not had a day like this every before.  OK! I have no girlfriends but I have about 50 guy friends and yet I am a tomboy. I will wear dress once in a while but not everyday with my hair all curled with lots of make-up. I wanted to be in with the guys so badly but I am a girl and I will have to suck it up that day and survive with my being with girls.  More like teenagers but it still the same. I usually partner up with guys and no I had to partner up with girls. I was a night mare!

What do I do!?

Am I supposed to tell my guy friends that I like being a girl. Just because they saw me hanging out with girls. I don't think so!

Youth-swimming at West Edmonton Mall.

Today is a time to go swimming with my youth group. The only reason why I am going there is so I can take pics. I have no friends there and most of the slides I am scared of. I am such a chicken! I feel so different compare to other teenagers. The have friends, there not scared of most of the slides. I asked to borrow my dad's i pod touch but he said no because the main reason so I can converse with people.  have no clue what that means but who cares. So all I brought was my DS, not DS i or 3DS  or DS XL. Just a  I just have a plain old DS. I also just brought a book. I only have 5 games. All kids. I am not eating till around 8 so yah for me. (not) Well I have to say is good luck Sam

I am 13 year old teenager with a reall attidude. I don't have much friends but that OK because God will always be my friend. Yes, I am a christian and I am a strong one.  I am making websites for my youth group and my school. In my family we have 2 bearded dragons, 3 fish, 1 tortoise and 1 hermin crab.
